BACKGROUND

I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 1996 with a degree in Nutrition Science. Before attending law school, I worked as a dietitian and research scientist. I graduated from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in 2004. During my third year of law school, I was a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert B. Kugler in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. I have lived in the Bella Vista section of Philadelphia for 6 years.

MY DECISION TO WORK HERE AT SCHNADER

During the interviewing process, it seemed that the atmosphere at Schnader was supportive and friendly. This opinion was supported by my experience as a summer associate. For me, it was a simple decision to join the Firm. I knew from my experience as a summer associate that I would be involved in great work with a great group of attorneys.

MY WORK HERE AT SCHNADER

During my first three years at Schnader, I have been involved in a variety of trust and estate matters. I have drafted complex wills and trusts, administered large estates and handled trust and estate issues before the Orphans' Court. In addition, I have handled numerous pro bono matters from organizations including SeniorLaw Center and Philadelphia VIP.

ASSOCIATE LIFE

The Firm has a great mentoring program for young attorneys. With both an associate and partner mentor, I always felt like there was someone to point me in the right direction. In addition to the mentoring program, the Firm has several committees that focus on associate issues and training. Associates play an active role in the review process by establishing and reviewing personal career goals.
