A former legal fellow for the Natural Resources Defense Council, Mr. Jones focuses his practice on assisting clients with environmental litigation and compliance matters. He advises public entities and private corporations on a range of federal, state and local environmental concerns.
In the environmental area, Mr. Jones handles compliance and enforcement actions under the Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act. He also represents clients in cost recovery actions under CERCLA and RCRA and in challenges to government actions under NEPA.
In addition, Mr. Jones has participated in the rulemaking process for federal and state environmental regulations - drafting comments and providing analysis on proposed rules. As a member of Schnader’s Environmental and Energy Practice Group, he has published articles and client alerts on a wide range of topics reflecting his experience in the environmental field.
Mr. Jones also works with Schnader’s Labor & Employment and Employment Practice Group and has handled numerous litigation and arbitration matters involving franchise disputes.
