Heather Janis Gaw is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. She focuses her practice on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on product liability, asbestos, and toxic tort matters.
Ms. Gaw has represented automotive manufacturers, HVAC corporations, and manufacturers of building and construction materials in product liability, asbestos, toxic tort, premises liability, and construction litigation. She has significant experience litigating product liability and asbestos matters in federal and state courts on behalf of automotive manufacturers. Her work includes managing all phases of litigation, encompassing pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, developing expert witnesses, settlement negotiations and trial. She also has experience managing several high volume dockets.
While in law school, Ms. Gaw interned with the U.S. Army JAG Environmental Litigation Division and served as a student attorney at the Tulane Environmental Law Clinic.
