Lawrence T. Hoyle, Jr., a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Services Department, has handled complex litigation for numerous Fortune 500 corporations, has extensive experience in the fields of securities, insurance coverage, antitrust, and products liability litigation. His client representations include serving for many years as national coordinating counsel for a major building products manufacturer in asbestos litigation. He also tried and won the first two asbestos-in-buildings cases ever tried in the U.S. He currently serves as court appointed counsel to the receiver for Joseph S. Forte and Joseph S. Forte, L.P. He previously served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.

In addition to managing his active professional practice, Mr. Hoyle has devoted a significant amount of his career to teaching and public service. His activities have included serving as Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Crime Commission, and serving as a member of the Pennsylvania Appellate Court Nomination Commission and as a member of the Judicial Inquiry and Review Board, which was charged with evaluation of alleged misconduct by the Pennsylvania judiciary. He has taught at Temple University Law School, as well as numerous legal seminars for practicing lawyers.
