Nilu K. Majd is a partner in the firm’s Litigation Services Department and a member of the Product Liability Practice Group. She focuses her practice on product liability, premises liability and personal injury matters.
Ms. Majd has tried over a dozen cases to verdict. She has a broad range of substantive experience defending insurance companies and Fortune 100 and 500 companies in complex and high value products and premises liability cases. She has significant experience managing discovery, deposing fact and expert witnesses, obtaining dismissals, negotiating favorable settlements, arguing dispositive motions, and preparing for and trying cases. She has also managed high volume caseloads of product and premises liability matters.
Ms. Majd began her legal career as a deputy public defender in Tulare County, California, where she tried seven jury trials to verdict. While in law school, she interned with the United States Department of State, the San Diego Public Defender’s Office, and the Foreign Institute, where she worked on Middle Eastern foreign policy.
