Above the Fray: Changing the Stakes of Supreme Court Selection and Enhancing Legitimacy

Timothy K. Lewis is a signatory on a national report about, “Above the Fray: Changing the Stakes of Supreme Court Selection and Enhancing Legitimacy.” Judge Lewis is a member of the Task Force on Federal Judicial Selection, which issued the report and was convened by The Constitution Project at the Project On Government Oversight (POGO).

The report “assesses the process for selecting Supreme Court justices and recommends reforms to reduce dysfunction.” The report sets out a roadmap for meaningful reform, drawing on lessons from state courts, other federal courts, and even judicial panels abroad.
