Vice-chair of the firm’s Aviation Group Barry Alexander was quoted in a January 12 article in Travel Weekly, “Treaty on unruly passengers takes effect; U.S. not on board.” He discussed the Montreal Protocol 2014, a global treaty that went into effect on January 1. The treaty addresses the ability of nations to prosecute unruly behavior by passengers on international flights.
Mr. Alexander’s practice concentrates on representation of airlines, product manufacturers, service companies, and aviation insurers in a wide variety of commercial, product liability, and personal injury litigation, and on the representation of premises owners and contractors in litigation arising under the New York Labor Law. Mr. Alexander acts as lead counsel in litigation in state and federal courts across the United States.
