Call for Entries for 26th Annual William A. Schnader Print Media Awards

Schnader Print Media Awards Competition, established 26 years ago by the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) to honor journalistic excellence in news or feature reporting of the legal system and its operations.
The Schnader Awards Competition is designed to recognize journalists who through their writing: foster greater public understanding of our legal system; inform and educate citizens as to the roles of society and the law, the courts, law enforcement agencies, and the legal profession; and disclose practices or procedures needing correction or improvement so as to encourage and promote efforts to improve and modernize our laws, courts or law enforcement agencies statewide.
The competition is funded by Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP and is named after William A. Schnader, a co-founder of the Schnader firm, as well as a former Pennsylvania attorney general and PBA president.
Entry deadline is July 31, 2005.
