Dandridge Authors Commentary on Recent Legal Diversity Event

On June 26, 2009 by Schnader in News

Albert Dandridge, chair of Schnader’s Securities Practice and a partner in the Philadelphia office, authored an article titled “Diversity Still in the Forefront; Phila. Lawyers Focused on Support,” published in The Legal Intelligencer on June 26. Recently, The Legal Intelligencer and Pennsylvania Law Weekly, in association with the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group, presented a “Diversity in the Law” luncheon. The luncheon honored Pennsylvania’s Diversity Attorneys of the Year. It also included a diversity panel discussion featuring Doug Gaston, senior vice president and general counsel at Comcast Cable; Michael Kuritzkes, senior vice president and general counsel at Sunoco; and Heidi Stam, managing director, general counsel and corporate secretary at Vanguard. Mr. Dandridge wrote that he was encouraged to see an overflow crowd of local attorneys, judges and other guests at the event. He believes that, despite the recent economic turmoil, the attendees’ enthusiasm for the event is evidence that the legal community is still placing a high priority on diversity.
