On May 21, 2009 by Schnader in LitigationAlbert Dandridge, a partner in the Firm’s Philadelphia office, was quoted in an article titled “Williams’ Win Sets Stage for History, Broad Changes,” published in The Legal Intelligencer on May 21. On May 20, R. Seth Williams won the Democratic primary for Philadelphia district attorney. If Mr. Williams wins the general election in November, he would become the city’s first African American district attorney. Mr. Dandridge said that Mr. Williams’ potential election as district attorney would bring to office an African American district attorney who can both empathize with the community the office serves, and be a public servant who has a good relationship with the Philadelphia Police Department.
