July 5, 2006 – Philadelphia, PA – Schnader attorney Albert S. Dandridge III was re-elected to serve for a three-year term as an independent governor for the Philadelphia Stock Exchange’s Board of Governors at the annual shareholders meeting held on June 22, 2006.
The Board of Governors is responsible for the management of the business and affairs of the exchange, which presently trades 1,943 stocks, 2,231 equity options, 19 sectors index options, currency options and futures.
Mr. Dandridge is the co-chair of both the Financial Services and the Corporate Practice Group at Schnader. His work focuses mainly on municipal and corporate finance matters, and he regularly counsels large public companies, broker-dealers and investment advisors on their securities reporting and financing requirements. Before joining Schnader, Mr. Dandridge worked for the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Corporation Finance as an associate director responsible for small business and international corporate finance. In addition, he served as special counsel in the Division of Corporation Finance.
