Deena Jo Schneider Appointed Vice-Chair of the ABA Antitrust Section’s Pricing Conduct Committee

On June 22, 2011 by Schnader in Antitrust

Deena Jo Schneider has been appointed Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association Antitrust Section’s Pricing Conduct Committee. She has previously served on the Advisory Council for this Committee.

Historically, this Committee has focused on federal litigation, court decisions and compliance counseling under the Robinson-Patman Act (“RPA”). In 2006, the Committee renamed itself the Pricing Conduct Committee to allow for a broader focus. While the RPA continues to be a principal focus of the Committee’s activities, there is an increased emphasis on state and international price discrimination laws and other pricing issues such as price gouging, most favored nation clauses and bundled rebates.
