Jo Bennett, co-chair of Schnader’s Labor and Employment Practices Group, is quoted in an article by Law360, “Employers Turn To Stricter Vaccine Rules As Virus Surges.”

The Law360 article quotes Bennett: “With the spread of the delta variant, we are starting to see a different type of incentive from employers — ‘negative incentives,'” Bennett said. “Employers are increasingly adopting mandatory vaccination policies. Some policies require regular testing of those not vaccinated, and other policies include termination as a consequence. Repeated testing or termination might very well serve as the incentive for vaccine-reluctant employees to get the shot.”
