Former Schnader partner Carl Solano, an interim appointee to the Pennsylvania Superior Court, has received high praise from the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Judicial Evaluation Commission (JEC).

In an article published by The Legal Intelligencer, Judge Solano was commended by the JEC for his “high intellectual ability and talent,” “strong work ethic” and “sophisticated yet accessible” legal writing.

The JEC continued, “he has earned the respect of other judges of the Superior Court. His reputation in the legal community is unsurpassed, not only for his intellect but also for his integrity and professionalism.”

Judge Solano is seeking a full 10-year term on the Superior court after being appointed last year to fill the vacancy on an interim basis, he received the JEC’s most favorable “highly recommended” rating.

Prior to Solano’s position on the Superior Court, he was the Chair of Schnader’s Appellate Practice Group and its Communications and Media Practice Group and had spent more than 30 years practicing appellate law.
