Four from Schnader Are Fellows of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers

Schnader is proud to have four attorneys who are Fellows of the prestigious and well-regarded International Academy of Trial Lawyers: Elizabeth K. Ainslie, William H. Brown, III, Dennis R. Suplee, and Ralph G. Wellington. Additionally, Mr. Suplee has served on the Academy’s Board of Directors since 2000, served as Vice President of the Board in 2007, and was elected President-Elect by the Academy’s Board of Directors at its annual meeting in March, 2008.

The International Academy of Trial Lawyers was chartered in 1954. In general, its purpose is to cultivate the science of jurisprudence, promote reforms in the law, facilitate the administration of justice, promote the rule of law internationally, elevate the standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession, and cherish the spirit of brotherhood among the members.

Active Academy membership is limited to 500 Fellows from the United States. In addition, the Academy includes 100 Fellows from over 30 countries throughout the world. Members are engaged in civil and criminal trial practice from both the plaintiff’s and the defendant’s side of the counsel table. The members of the IATL represent the most exceptional attorneys in the world.
