On June 10, 2014 by Schnader in Construction

South Jersey Biz Magazine recently conducted a poll of their business readers to determine the “Best Attorneys in Business” in the region. Over the course of three months, hundreds of names were submitted. Of those, four Schnader partners located in the firm’s Cherry Hill, N.J. office were selected:

  • Jeanne Schubert Barnum, Construction
  • Harris Neal Feldman, Labor & Employment
  • Lisa J. Rodriguez, Class Action

Ms. Barnum, managing partner of the Firm’s Cherry Hill office and co-chair of the Firm’s Construction Industry Practice Group, is a trial lawyer with more than 25 years of experience representing developers, business owners, landlords, lenders, and municipalities in a wide variety of business, commercial and creditors’ rights litigation. She also counsels clients on shifting risk and litigation prevention. Ms. Barnum has an active dispute resolution practice and is an arbitrator for the Federal Court for the District of New Jersey, as well as a New Jersey court mediator.

Mr. Feldman counsels and defends all sizes of businesses struggling with employment challenges, such as harassment, discrimination, reasonable accommodation, whistleblower, and wrongful discharge claims, along with helping on unemployment claims and labor issues.  He also provides interactive annual trainings to management and employees, drafts and amends employment manuals and severance agreements, and provides frequent counseling on workplace polices and human resource issues. In addition, he has served as a court-appointed mediator exclusively for employment litigation matters and currently conducts private employment mediations to help parties resolve disputes in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Ms. Rodriguez focuses her practice on the litigation of class actions and securities and corporate governance. Ms. Rodriguez is a frequent panel speaker appearing for the Practicing Law Institute on Securities Regulation and the Philadelphia Bar Education Center on consumer and class action issues and New Jersey continuing litigation. She has participated in programs sponsored by consumer organizations, speaking and writing on financial services issues in general, and the rent-to-own industry in particular.
