Georgetown Law Center Honors Schnader for Pro Bono
On February 24, 2006 by Schnader in NewsThe Pro Bono Institute at Georgetown University Law Center presented a “10th Anniversary Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge Award” to the Firm. The award salutes the Firm’s dedication to pro bono, and all Schnader does “to make this world a better, fairer, and more just place,” as a signatory of the Law Firm Pro Bono challenge. According to their website, “the Pro Bono Institute’s Law Firm Pro Bono Challenge is a unique, global, aspirational pro bono standard. Developed by law firm leaders and corporate general counsel, the challenge articulates a single, unitary standard for one key segment of the legal profession – the world’s largest law firms. Major law firms that become signatories to the challenge acknowledge their institutional, firm-wide commitment to provide pro bono legal services to low income and disadvantaged individuals and families and non-profit groups.”
