Harold Cramer Quoted in Corporate Board Member Magazine

Harold Cramer, a retired partner resident in the Firm’s Philadelphia office, was quoted in the fourth quarter issue of Corporate Board Member magazine. The article discussed corporate succession planning. Mr. Cramer, who served as chairman and CEO of the Graduate Health System, Inc. from 1989 to 1996, emphasized that succession planning is critical to an organization’s success, noting that during his time “we [would] look as an emergency CEO succession plan every year. We [would] dedicate an entire session to it, and spend the time going over the succession plan with a fine-tooth comb from top to bottom. God forbid, but in an emergency we [were] ready to launch that plan in a second.” He went on to emphasize that such planning is an important part of any board’s responsibility.
