Hon. Timothy K. Lewis Helps Senator Casey Vet Judge Gorsuch

The Honorable Timothy K. Lewis assisted Senator Bob Casey (D-Pa) in his review of the record of Judge Neil Gorsuch, nominee for the Supreme Court of the United States. Judge Lewis met with Senator Casey to discuss the nuances and implications of Judge Gorsuch’s approach to the law. On March 23, Senator Casey announced his decision to vote “no” on the nomination.

Judge Lewis previously served on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He serves on the boards of the American Constitution Society (ACS) and the Constitution Project, and is a member of Pennsylvania’s Interbranch Commission for Gender, Racial and Ethnic Fairness. He speaks throughout the country on issues of equality, diversity and inclusion.
