The Honorable Timothy K. Lewis was quoted in the article “SCOTUS Losing Authority as Vacancy Persists, Former Judge Says,” published by Bloomberg Law on June 23, 2016. The article recounted a call organized by the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law to mark the 100th day since Judge Merrick Garland’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court. Lewis was joined by Stephen Robinson and Shira Scheindlin, both former district court judges in Manhattan, in discussing the need for the Senate to hold a confirmation hearing.
