Hon. Timothy K. Lewis Receives Leadership Award from Diversity Council

Schnader is pleased to congratulate Hon. Timothy K. Lewis, who received the Pennsylvania Leadership Excellence Award from the National Diversity Council. He was celebrated for his efforts to promote diversity in the workplace in Pennsylvania and throughout the nation at the Pennsylvania Diversity and Leadership Conference in Pittsburgh on October 25.

Judge Lewis is a tireless advocate for promoting diversity in decision-making professions. As the national chair of the CPR-International Institute for Conflict Prevent and Resolution Diversity Task Force, he makes practical recommendations to increase the participation of female and minority mediators and arbitrators in major commercial disputes. He previously served as chair of the American Arbitration Association’s Committee on Diversity. Judge Lewis serves on Schnader’s Diversity Committee, and often speaks on diversity in the legal profession. Earlier this month, he was the keynote speaker at the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Diversity Summit.

The National Diversity Council is a nonprofit organization that brings together the private public and nonprofit sectors to discuss the benefits of a multicultural environment.
