Jo Bennett Named Labor and Employment Group Co-Chair

Schnader is pleased to announce that partner Jo Bennett has been appointed co-chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practices Group. She succeeds Anne Kane, who will continue to serve as co-chair of the firm’s Privacy and Data Security Group.

“We are delighted that Jo will take on this new role and excited to see where her energy and focus will lead the firm’s employment practice,” said Nicholas J. LePore, III, managing partner of the firm.

Ms. Bennett advises employers on all aspects of labor and employment law, including compliance and strategies for avoiding litigation. She also assists federal contractors with equal employment opportunity and affirmative action compliance. She is a member of the Forum of Executive Women and a former board member of the American Association for Affirmative Action. Last year, she was recognized by the Pennsylvania Diversity Council as one of the “Most Powerful and Influential Women” for 2016.
