Joseph Lundy Named Nonprofit Group Co-Chair

Schnader is pleased to announce that counsel Joseph E. Lundy will serve as co-chair of our Nonprofit Organizations Practice Group, ranked among the best practices in the country by The Legal 500. To this role, Joe brings over 40 years of experience in matters involving exempt organizations.

Joe advises healthcare systems, universities, colleges, foundations and other nationally prominent charities throughout the country regarding IRS audits, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, tax-exempt financing, unrelated business income, and physician practice arrangements as well as fundraising and general compliance matters. He is a former Chair of the ABA Tax Section’s Exempt Organizations Committee, an Adjunct Professor for over 35 years at Temple University School of Law, a Fellow of the American College of Tax Counsel, a former Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Tax Section, and co-editor-in-chief of Taxation of Exempts. In addition, he is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Non-Profit/Charities Law. Joe previously served as a principal in the international accounting and consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is resident in the firm’s Philadelphia office.
