Judge Lewis Comments on Third Circuit Nomination

On September 14, 2006 by Schnader in News

Judge Timothy Lewis was quoted in a September 14, 2006 article in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, “Bush Nominates Area Judge to Appeals Court.” The previous Wednesday, President Bush had nominated District Judge Thomas M. Hardiman to the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in Philadelphia. The nomination now must be approved by the United States Senate. “He has the combination of the perfect personality and temperament,” Judge Lewis said. “Exquisite judgment with a wonderful sense of himself and the court. That’s what makes a great judge, and that’s Tom Hardiman. Tom will be perfectly fine.”
