Keith Whitson Appointed Managing Partner of the Pittsburgh Office

Schnader is pleased to announce that Keith E. Whitson has been appointed managing partner of the firm’s Pittsburgh office. He succeeds George E. McGrann, who has served in the role since 2012.

“Keith has excelled in various leadership roles in recent years and is committed to growing and strengthening the Pittsburgh Office,” said Nicholas J. LePore, managing partner of the firm. “He is poised to build on the foundation put in place by George, whom we thank for his leadership and dedication over the last 5 years.”

Mr. Whitson previously served as chair of the Product Liability Practice Group for many years. His practice focuses on general commercial litigation, product liability, toxic torts, insurance coverage and appellate advocacy. He also is an approved mediator and early neutral evaluator with the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and serves in a variety of ADR roles.

Active in the Pittsburgh community, Mr. Whitson’s board service includes Legal Services to Immigrants and Internationals, part of Jewish Family & Children’s Service; the Women and Girls Foundation; and the Allegheny County Bar Foundation. He has an active pro bono practice, and was the 2012 recipient of the firm’s Earl G. Harrison Pro Bono Award.
