Partner Kenneth Puhala was quoted in “Foreign Debtors Find a Safe Harbor in the U.S.,” published on The Deal Pipeline on September 23. The article discussed how foreign companies are increasingly filing for protection under Chapter 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in order to resolve issues in their own domestic proceedings. Mr. Puhala noted how Chapter 15, which has been in effect since 2005, is becoming a predictable mechanism for restructurings.
