Obituary for Paul H. Titus

As published on February 23, 2022 by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

“A ‘true lawyer’s lawyer’ and deeply ethical man whose decades long career as an attorney left a lasting legacy in Pittsburgh’s legal field and beyond, Paul Titus was passionate about helping others however he could.

‘Paul Titus was in a class by himself,’ said Duquesne University President Ken Gormley, who met Mr. Titus in 1985.

‘He was really the embodiment of all the best qualities a person would hope to achieve in the legal profession,’ Mr. Gormley added.

Mr. Titus died Saturday after a prolonged series of illnesses, according to his son Bill Titus.

He was 87.”

Paul was a longstanding Partner, and a mentor and friend to all, at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP.

The family asks that condolences be expressed as donations in Paul’s memory to the St. Bonaventure Foundation for scholarships, as well as the Allegheny County Bar Foundation.
