Schnader Assists Clean Earth, Inc. with its Soil Recycling and Disposal Services Expansion in Southeastern Region of the United States

Schnader, led by partner Megan E. Harmon, represented Clean Earth, Inc. in the acquisition of assets from Soil Remediation, Inc. (“SRI”) in August 2012. Clean Earth and its subsidiaries are in the business of thermal treatment of non-hazardous petroleum-contaminated soils. The acquisition of SRI marks Clean Earth’s ninth soil treatment and recycling location in the United States and the second facility in the Southeast, providing the company the opportunity to expand its soil recycling and disposal services.

Clean Earth, Inc. is one of the nation’s largest specialty waste companies providing recycling and remediation services to energy, infrastructure, commercial, and industrial customers along the East Coast of the United States. Headquartered in Hatboro, Pa., it operates a network of 11 full-service facilities servicing New York to Florida, and handles more than three million tons of material annually.
