Schnader Attorneys Noted in Legal Intelligencer Article

On March 8, 2012 by Schnader in Litigation

On March 6, 2012, a team of Schnader attorneys was mentioned in The Legal Intelligencer article “Supreme Court to Determine Copy Costs for Medical Records” as counsel to Firm client MRO Corporation. The article discussed the state Supreme Court’s plans to rule on whether health care providers or their records-reproducing proxies must disclose their actual and reasonable costs of producing charts and records. In August, a divided state Superior Court panel ruled that health care providers or their records-reproducing proxies can base their charges for providing hard copies of medical records on the maximum charges spelled out under state law. Carl A. Solano, David Smith, John K. Gisleson, and Jennifer A. Callery were noted as counsel to MRO Corporation in the article.

Media coverage also appeared in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette on March 12.
