Schnader Hosts Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia General Body Meeting

On January 9, Schnader was pleased to host the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia’s General Body Meeting featuring special guest speaker, David L. Cohen.

During the meeting, Barristers’ Association president and Schnader attorney Rachel E. Branson expressed her pleasure that Mr. Cohen had agreed to be a part of the Barristers’ Leadership Institute, which invites legal superstars into its monthly general body meetings to discuss their perspectives on the practice of law and share their tools for success. 

Mr. Cohen, Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer of the Comcast Corporation and former Chief of Staff to then-Mayor Ed Rendell, detailed his professional life and career path, which he admits he could never have predicted. During the question and answer session with the association’s members, Mr. Cohen emphasized the importance of seeking out mentors at every stage of your career and being a mentor to others. Additionally, he discussed Comcast’s efforts and initiatives in the areas of diversity and inclusion.

Schnader will be the host site for the monthly Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia General Body Meetings until June 2013.
