Schnader Hosts the 2014 World City Bar Leaders Conference

Schnader was proud to host the first full day of the 2014 World City Bar Leaders Conference, held September 10-13 in Philadelphia. Schnader partner, Chief Diversity Officer, and Chancellor-elect of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Albert S. Dandridge, III, and the firm’s Philadelphia office hosted the conference on Thursday, September 11. During that day’s portion of the conference, Bruce P. Merenstein and Carl A. Solano presented the “Legal History of the Barnes Foundation.”

The WCBL conference welcomed leaders of metropolitan bar associations around the world. In recent years, the conference has been held in Frankfurt, Montreal and Tokyo. The conference expects to attract delegates from across the globe, including, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Beijing, Chicago, Frankfurt, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong.

The year, the event was hosted by the Philadelphia Bar Association and was held in downtown Philadelphia. The daytime meetings were held at some of the city’s largest law firms and the evening and weekend festivities will center on a variety of cultural and historic activities.

World City Bar Leaders meet every 18 months to discuss issues facing the worldwide legal profession.
