Schnader Names Two New Partners

Philadelphia, PA, January 4, 2023 –– Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP is pleased to announce that two associates have been elected to partnership, which became effective January 1, 2023. The Firm’s new partners are Samantha Banks and Raymond J. Hunter.

Samantha Banks is a member of the firm’s Litigation Services Department, and a member of the Labor and Employment Class Action and Internal Investigations, Ethics, and Compliance practice groups. She has litigated a broad range of cases in state and federal courts, including employment discrimination claims, wage claims, breach of contract claims, and complex commercial litigation matters. Her practice also includes counseling and advising employers in addressing issues that arise in the workplace, including negotiating employment agreements and non-compete agreements, and conducting internal investigations for corporate clients, nonprofit organizations, and private and public schools and universities. She previously served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Thomas J. Rueter in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and a legal intern at the Support Center for Child Advocates and the Pennsylvania Innocence Project. Ms. Banks serves as co-chair of the firm’s Associates Committee. Ms. Banks graduated from Lehigh University in 2011 with a B.S. in Business and Economics and received her J.D. in 2014 from Villanova University School of Law.

Raymond J. Hunter is a member of the firm’s Litigation Services Department, the Railroad Practice Group, and the Insurance Services Group. He regularly represents commercial property owners and lessees, from retail establishments to heavy industry such as railroads, in casualty and contract litigation. He also represents clients in the automotive and trucking industries in product liability litigation. He is a member of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel; the Keystone State Railroad Association; American Short Line & Regional Rail Association; and Delaware County United, a CeaseFirePA Chapter organization. He was recently awarded the 2022 Earl G. Harrison Pro Bono Award. He graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1998 cum laude with a B.S. in Speech Communications, and received a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2001.
