PITTSBURGH, PA (February 16, 2005) – Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP Partner Judith F. Olson has been named to the Board of Advisors of the Operation Good Neighbor Foundation.

The Foundation initiates special projects, provides seed grants and delivers needed materials through in-kind contributions from corporations, businesses and individuals to grass-roots organizations that address poverty and homelessness, substance abuse, youth and domestic violence and illiteracy.  U.S. Senator Rick Santorum founded the organization, and the board of advisors is composed primarily of corporate executives from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Washington, DC.

A fellow in the American Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, Olson focuses her practice on commercial litigation with an emphasis on directors’ and officers’ liability, securities and antitrust litigation, RICO and fraud claims, shareholders’ derivative actions and class action litigation. She represents businesses and officers and directors of both private and public companies, and counsels clients with corporate governance issues regarding fiduciary duties of officers and directors and governance matters that impact corporations, boards and management. In 2004, Law & Politics Magazine rated Olson among the top 50 female lawyers in Pennsylvania and recognized her as a “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer” for business litigation.

Olson is president of the American Heart Association’s Allegheny Division Board of Directors and is a member of the Association’s Pennsylvania/Delaware Affiliate Board of Directors. She also serves as a member of the Ethics Committee and Family Forum of the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is president of the pastoral council of Saints John and Paul Church.

A magna cum laude graduate of St. Francis College, Olson earned her J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne University School of Law.
