Schnader Receives 2009 Chancellor’s Award from Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent

Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent (VIP) named Schnader a 2009 recipient of their Chancellor’s Award. Joanne Noble, the director of the Firm’s pro bono program, accepted the award on the Firm’s behalf at a special reception held at City Hall. The award was presented to law firms who have at least ten-percent of their Philadelphia lawyers working on VIP matters. Among the attoneys who provided pro bono counsel to VIP during the past year are: Meredith Brennan (associate, Philadelphia office), Morgen Cheshire (associate, Philadelphia office), Christine Cushman (associate, Philadelphia office), Nadine Doolittle (associate, Philadelphia office), Robert Feder (partner, Philadelphia office),  Jim Meyer (partner, Philadelphia office), Mark Momjian (partner, Philadelphia office), Natasha Gonzalez Rojas (associate, Philadelphia office), Lauren Sorrentino (associate, Philadelphia office), Ron Ventola (partner, Philadelphia office), and Ralph Wellington (Chairman of the Firm and partner, Philadelphia office).

Philadelphia VIP is dedicated to providing indigent individuals equal access to the legal system in civil matters by referring them to volunteer lawyers, paralegals, and others who provide legal services free of charge.
