Schnader Recognized for Pro Bono Contributions

On April 13, 2016 by Schnader in News

Schnader is pleased to announce that the firm has been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as one of the most generous in providing pro bono services for people in need in the Philadelphia community. The firm ranked ninth among 36 area firms for the total number of hours donated by attorneys in the Philadelphia and Cherry Hill offices in 2014. Rankings were based on data provided by firms who completed the 2016 Law Firms survey.

Since the founding of Schnader Harrison in 1935, one of firm’s distinguishing features has been our commitment to pro bono and public service. In 2014 and 2015, Schnader attorneys had several notable pro bono victories, including working with the Innocence Project to secure an overturned conviction and new trial on behalf of a client, and procuring a settlement which enabled hundreds of intellectually-disabled residents to remain in their intermediate-care programs or integrate into community-based care.
