Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP is pleased to welcome back tax partner Jonathan R. Flora to the firm’s Philadelphia office. Mr. Flora’s practice focuses on all aspects of tax planning and structuring.
“Jon’s return enhances our tax group, and his considerable experience with complex corporate tax matters will be a great asset to our clients,” said Tax and Wealth Management Department chair Bruce Rosenfield.
Mr. Flora advises clients on federal, state, and local tax issues. He represents clients on tax planning and structuring for a broad range of industries and transactions, including joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, redemptions, liquidations, and Section 1031 tax-free exchanges. Mr. Flora routinely advises pass-through entities on operating, allocation, and distribution issues, and he frequently advises and counsels tax-exempt and nonprofit entities. He also advises individuals on income tax planning and compliance.
Mr. Flora received his LL.M. from New York University, his J.D. from University of Maryland School of Law, and a B.S., summa cum laude, from Towson University.
