Schnader Welcomes Courtney Devon Taylor

Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP is delighted to announce that Courtney Devon Taylor has joined the Firm and will be resident in our Philadelphia and Cherry Hill offices.

Courtney Devon Taylor is Counsel in the Firm’s Litigation Department. Before joining Schnader, Ms. Taylor was a litigator at a major New York-based international firm, where she focused her practice on commercial litigation, securities litigation and enforcement, and financial services disputes. Ms Taylor regularly represented global financial institutions, issuers, and Fortune 100 companies before state and federal courts throughout the United States, and before regulatory agencies. 

Ms. Taylor has a deep commitment to community affairs, with a particular interest in youth and education. She serves as Chairwoman of the Board of Directions for Our Youth, a Bronx-based youth development organization that provides after-school and summer programming for students in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Harlem. Ms. Taylor is also a member of the Friends Academy Alumni Association Board.

Ms. Taylor received her J.D., with honors, from Emory University School of Law. There, she was named a Kessler-Eidson Trial Techniques Scholar, a distinction awarded to the female student who demonstrates the most promise in trial advocacy as determined by lawyers and judges from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. Upon graduation, she received the American Law Institute-American Bar Association Scholarship and Leadership Award. She earned a B.A. from Wesleyan University.
