Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis is pleased to welcome Christian Moretti as a partner in the firm’s New York City office.
Mr. Moretti, a member of the Business Services Department, has significant experience advising domestic and multinational companies in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and cross-border corporate and commercial transactions. His practice includes stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions, auctions, private placements, securities offerings, corporate reorganizations and private equity transactions, as well as general corporate advisory work.
Mr. Moretti has represented companies in sectors such as banking and private equity, new media and technology, fashion, health care, real estate, and hospitality. In the course of his career, Mr. Moretti has helped structure, negotiate and complete more than $20 billion worth of M&A and other transactions, both domestic and cross-border.
“Mr. Moretti complements and expands our firm’s capabilities in the private equity, securities and M&A areas, while strengthening our already existing relationships with Italian and European companies doing business in the United States,” said Chris Carty, managing partner of the firm’s New York office.
Mr. Moretti received law degrees from the University of Padua and Columbia University School of Law and is admitted to practice law in Italy and New York. He currently serves as a permanent member of the Board of Advisors of the Columbia Law School Alumni Association, after having served as its President, First-Vice President and Director for several years.
