Schnader Welcomes Partner Lisa Brauner to the Firm

Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP is pleased to welcome Lisa M. Brauner as a partner in the Labor and Employment Practices Group, resident in the firm’s New York office.

“Lisa brings a unique talent for both litigation and business counseling,” said Theodore L. Hecht, Managing Partner of Schnader’s New York office. “She is an outstanding addition to our New York office and adds valuable experience to the Firm’s deep bench in the labor and employment field.” 

Brauner advises nonprofit organizations, for-profit businesses and social enterprises on all aspects of the employment relationship. She has extensive experience defending employers in court, including successfully first-chairing both jury and bench trials. In addition, she responds to charges of discrimination before the EEOC and other government agencies, and inquiries from the Department of Labor.

Brauner has significant experience preparing employment, severance, confidentiality, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, as well as employee handbooks and policies. She conducts human resources compliance audits and assists employers in developing and implementing systems and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws.

Brauner is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and Tufts University, cum laude. She has been named to The Best Lawyers in America for Labor and Employment Law – Management.
