Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP is pleased to welcome accomplished litigation partner Maureen Rowan to the firm’s Philadelphia office.
“We are delighted that Maureen has joined the firm,” said Nicholas J. LePore, III, Managing Partner of the firm. “Her experience expands our capabilities in the areas of railroad litigation and insurance, and the depth of her knowledge will be a resource to all of our clients.”
A litigator with more than 30 years of experience, Ms. Rowan focuses her practice on the defense of railroads, self-insured corporations and insurance companies. She defends railroads in personal injury and wrongful death/survival actions, including Federal Employers Liability Act cases, in federal and state courts. She also defends self-insured corporations and insurance companies in personal injury and breach of contract cases.
A member of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel (NARTC), Ms. Rowan regularly teaches at the NARTC Trial College. She also frequently speaks at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Southeastern Claims Conferences, and NARTC conferences.
Ms. Rowan is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and the Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel. She currently is an instructor for the NARTC and previously served as its Eastern Regional Vice President. She earned her J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law, and her B.A. from LaSalle College.
