Schnader Welcomes Roberta A. Barsotti to the Firm

PHILADELPHIA – Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP is pleased to welcome Roberta A. Barsotti as a partner to the Firm. She joins the Tax & Wealth Management Department and the Trusts & Estates practice group. Ms. Barsotti will be resident in the Philadelphia office.

Ms. Barsotti helps her clients develop specialized plans to address tax and wealth issues for a myriad of family dynamics. She designs wills, trusts, partnership agreements and other financial management documents utilizing sophisticated income, estate and gift tax strategies. Ms. Barsotti represents clients in multi-generational wealth transfer, planning with tax-deferred assets, asset protection strategies, succession planning for closely held businesses, structuring charitable gifts and trust and estate administration. She also handles Orphans’ Court litigation.

Her clients include business owners, multi-generational families, charitable organizations and corporate fiduciaries, international businesses and special needs individuals. She counsels corporate executives, professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners, special needs individuals and international clients.

Prior to joining Schnader, Ms. Barsotti was a partner with Archer & Greiner P.C. in Philadelphia. She also held the positions of vice president and senior wealth planner at PNC and managing director of wealth planning at Wilmington Trust. She received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania; an M.A. from the University of London, Courtauld Institute of Art; and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Temple University School of Law where she served as Articles Editor for the Temple Law Review. Ms. Barsotti is an adjunct professor in the graduate tax program at Temple University School of Law.
