Schnader Welcomes Five Associates to its New York, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh Offices

Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP is pleased to welcome six associates to the firm: Daniel Gross; Meghan Higgins; Brandy Ringer; David Struwe; and Tracy Weinstein. These associates join Schnader in its New York, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh offices.

LePore, III. “Each of these hires results from a specific need to accommodate our growth in core service areas, both from new clients and expanded representations for existing clients. These new colleagues will add both talent and depth to support our commitment to effective and efficient client service.”

The new and lateral associates joining Schnader include a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, two athletes who played NCAA Division I Varsity Women’s Lacrosse, two members of Phi Beta Kappa, and four law review editors.

The associates include:

Daniel Gross is a member of the firm’s Litigation Services Department, resident in the Firm’s Philadelphia office. He previously served as a judicial intern for the Honorable L. Felipe Restrepo at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Prior to attending law school, Gross worked as a paralegal in the Honors Program at the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Competition where he assisted in the review of potential mergers and anticompetitive conduct issues. He is a 2017 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School. He received a B.A. in Philosophy and Government from Hamilton College.

Meghan A. Higgins is a member of the firm’s Litigation Services department, working primarily with the Labor and Employment Practices group. She is resident in the Firm’s Philadelphia office. Higgins represents clients in all facets of employee relations, including complex litigation in federal and state courts, and advises employers on a wide array of labor and employment issues. She has significant experience representing employers in NLRB proceedings, collective bargaining, and labor arbitration. Prior to joining Schnader, she practiced in the Labor and Employment group of an international law firm and clerked at the federal district and appellate levels. Higgins is 2011 graduate, cum laude, of the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She received a B.A. in History, with honors, from the University of Maryland.

Brandy S. Ringer is a member of the firm’s Litigation Services department, resident in the Firm’s Pittsburgh office. Prior to joining Schnader, she clerked for the Honorable Christine L. Donohue at both the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Pennsylvania Superior Court. Ringer is a 2013 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she was the Lead Executive Editor of the Journal of Technology Law & Policy. She received a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy, magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh.

David Robert Struwe is a member of the firm’s Litigation Services Department, working primarily with the practice groups for Aviation and Criminal Defense and Internal Investigations. He is resident in the Firm’s Philadelphia office. Struwe previously served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where his roles included Prosecutor and Special Assistant U.S. Attorney and Special Victim Prosecutor. He also advised commanders on military justice and rules of engagement while deployed in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Struwe is a 2011 graduate, cum laude, of Temple University Beasley School of Law. He received a B.A. in International Politics, with Highest Distinction, from Pennsylvania State University.

Tracy J. Weinstein is a member of the firm’s Litigation Services Department, resident in the Firm’s New York office. She has significant federal and state court trial experience, as well as strong appellate experience. She concentrates her practice on insurance defense matters, including construction accidents, product liability, premises liability, and property damage claims. Weinstein also has experience in civil rights litigation and has handled intellectual property work in trademark protection. Prior to joining Schnader, she practiced in the Construction and Insurance groups for a regional law firm in New York. She is a 2014 graduate, cum laude, of New York Law School. She received a B.A. in Political Science and History, magna cum laude, from Binghamton University.
