Schnader Welcomes Two New Associates

PHILADELPHIA– Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP is pleased to welcome two new associates, Shannon L.C. Ammon and Lee C. Schmeer, to the firm. Both will be resident in the firm’s Philadelphia office.

Ms. Ammon is a member of the Litigation Services Department. Prior to joining Schnader, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Dolores K. Sloviter in the Third Circuit Court of Appeals and to the Honorable Ivan D. Davis in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Ms. Ammon also previously served as a law fellow to the American Civil Liberties Union of the Nation’s Capital and as a legal intern to the Honorable Reggie B. Walton in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and at the U.S. Department of Justice. She received her J.D., cum laude, from American University, Washington College of Law in 2012. Ms. Ammon served as Senior Note and Comment Editor for the Administrative Law Review and was a Legal Rhetoric Dean’s Fellow and Myer’s Distinguished Fellow. She received her B.A., with honors, from Elon University in 2009.

Mr. Schmeer is a member of Schnader’s Litigation Services Department and Aviation Practice Group. He is also a pilot with extensive worldwide flight experience, having flown 90 combat missions in the United States Air Force. Mr. Schmeer serves as an Air Force Reserve Instructor Pilot on the C-17 Globemaster III. While in law school, he interned in the chambers of the Honorable Robert B. Kugler in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and at the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region III Office of Regional Counsel. He also served as Treasurer and Director of Community Outreach for the Drexel Law Veterans Association. Mr. Schmeer graduated from Drexel University School of Law cum laude in 2014, and received his B.A., with honors, from University of California at Santa Barbara in 2004.
