Schnader’s Bob Collings Included in Who’s Who in Energy 2012

Robert L. Collings, co-chair of the Energy, Environmental, and Sustainability and Environmental Services practice groups, was included in the Houston Business Journal’s 2012 “Who’s Who in Energy.” The list highlights 700 of the industry’s business leaders across seven U.S. cities. Honorees include those who work in positions throughout the energy industry, including in finance, law, engineering and energy companies.

Mr. Collings has more than 25 years of regulatory and litigation experience in environmental law and hazardous substance issues and environmentally-affected corporate, real estate, and land use issues. A former enforcement attorney and manager at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, he represents manufacturing, transportation, financial services, retail and real estate businesses and others with permit needs, claims, and transactional matters involving environmental or regulatory issues. Mr. Collings has represented petroleum refiners and electric power generators, pipeline companies, as well as companies using onsite powers systems and manufacturing stored energy systems. He has detailed familiarity with federal, state and local regulatory programs and their managers and tries cases in state and federal courts and administrative tribunals. He is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee and former chair of the Litigation Department.
