CHERRY HILL, N.J. – On November 14, the Schnader’s Cherry Hill office kicked-off their second annual clothing drive supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden & Gloucester Counties. Last year’s drive resulted in the donation of nearly 1,000 pounds of clothing to the charity.

The drive will continue until #GivingTuesday on December 3, 2013 and donations can be dropped off at Schnader’s office at 220 Lake Drive in Cherry Hill. Schnader is a sponsor of #GivingTuesday in the Philadelphia area. The social media effort is a movement to create a national day of giving amid the holiday season, following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

“After seeing last year’s success, we knew there was an opportunity to make this an annual appeal in support of the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization,” said Harris Neal Feldman, Schnader partner and clothing drive organizer. “At our kick-off event, we were overwhelmed at the local support this drive received. On our first day, we collected nearly as many bags of clothes as all of last year. We hope to set a new mark this year.”

The firm’s Cherry Hill, N.J. office welcomed corporate and individual donors from local businesses including the Cherry Hill Outback Steakhouse, LEGACY Retail Services, and Insurance Office of America,

“Our friends at Schnader have been so generous with their time, their talents and their treasure and now their clothing too.  They help us change lives of children for the better forever.” said Rob Jakubowski, CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington, Camden & Gloucester Counties. He also presented Schnader with a Silver Sponsor plaque at the kick-off event.
