Scott Wenner Discusses Overtime Rule

In November, a federal judge issued a nationwide preliminary injunction against enforcement of the new overtime rule, which was set to take effect December 1st. Partner Scott Wenner discussed this development in several media outlets. He was quoted in “The Morning Risk Report: Companies Face Quandary on Overtime Rule,” published in The Wall Street Journal on December 1, 2016. There, he discussed factors that may come into play as companies weigh whether and how to implement planned policy changes to comply with the overtime rule that was enjoined. These include state laws, decisions to reclassify workers, and employee relations.
