Team Schnader Is Among the Top Fundraising Teams at the 2011 Philly AIDS Walk/Run

Led by Kevin Blanton, a partner in the Firm’s Philadelphia office and president of the board for AIDS Fund Philadelphia, Team Schnader raised more than $2,300 to date towards the 2011 Philly AIDS Walk/Run and was one of the top corporate fundraisers for the event. The team, which was eight members strong, included attorneys and staff, walkers and runners, and even a few “virtual walkers”.

The team had enthusiastic support from across the Firm’s seven offices and held a firm wide “Wear Jeans to Work Day” on the Friday before the walk, allowing staff and attorneys to wear jeans for a donation in support of the team. Melissa Blanton, also a partner in the Firm’s Philadelphia office, organized and coordinated the fund raising for Team Schnader within the Firm, getting the word out and encouraging all to participate for the cause.
