Ted Hecht Named Managing Partner of New York Office

Schnader opened the New York office in 1984 and it is now the firm’s second largest office, located in the Financial District of Manhattan.

Hecht is a member of Schnader’s departments for both Business Services and Litigation and the practice groups for Construction, Class Action, and Appellate Practice. He has successfully tried civil and criminal cases to verdict and award and argued appeals in a wide range of venues. He has represented clients in construction, complex commercial, products liability, employment, personal injury, and criminal cases. Hecht is ranked by Chambers USA – America’s Leading Business Lawyers Guide for construction law, 2012-present.
Active in civic and charitable pursuits, Hecht served as a fire fighter in the Town of Mamaroneck Fire Department, being named honorary chief and department counsel. He also serves as a member of the Board of Ethics for the Town of Mamaroneck.
Hecht graduated, cum laude, from New York Law School and received a B.A., with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin.
