Terry Loscalzo, Keith Whitson, and Rich Barkasy will join Schnader’s Chairman Ken Puhala and its Executive Committee

Terry Loscalzo, Keith Whitson, and Rich Barkasy will join Schnader’s Chairman Ken Puhala and its Executive Committee in leading the Firm. The diversity of the new team’s primary offices – with Mr. Puhala in New York, Ms. Loscalzo in Philadelphia, Mr. Whitson in Pittsburgh, and Mr. Barkasy in Wilmington — underscores the Firm’s commitment to future growth, with office locations and head count.
On January 1, 2023, Terry Loscalzo will become the Firm’s Managing Partner. Ms. Loscalzo, who has been with the Firm since 1987, has been serving as a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee since 2018, and as the Firm’s co-managing partner. Her practice focuses on large and complex litigation, including litigation involving mergers and acquisitions, financial services, securities, and antitrust.
On November 1, 2022, Keith Whitson assumed the role of the Firm’s General Counsel, responsible for all matters relating to professional responsibility and loss prevention. Mr. Whitson is a partner in the Litigation Services Department, Managing Partner of the Pittsburgh office, and co-chair of the Firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Mr. Whitson concentrates his practice in general commercial litigation, professional liability, product liability, appellate advocacy, and mediation. He also has substantial experience in aviation litigation, insurance coverage, and environmental law.
On January 1, 2023, Rich Barkasy will begin serving as Schnader’s Chief Financial Officer, a new position at the Firm. In that role, Mr. Barkasy will assist the Firm’s Chairman, Ken Puhala, and its Executive Committee, on which he has been serving, in managing the Firm’s financial and business matters. Mr. Barkasy has been with Schnader since 1993. Mr. Barkasy, who also chairs the Firm’s Creditors’ Rights and Business Restructuring Practice Group, focuses his practice on bankruptcy cases as well as other complex commercial litigation matters.
