On June 12, 2006, Paul Titus was quoted in the Times Leader article “Federal Judge Tosses Lawsuit Over Lawmakers’ Pay Raise.” The story also ran in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. The article explains that a federal judge threw out a lawsuit that sought to ban the tactics used by the state legislature to give lawmakers, judges and other government workers a pay raise in July. Paul, who was part of the team that represented Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Ralph J. Cappy, commented “We thought it was a misuse of the legal process to file that lawsuit. Obviously we’re very pleased that the judge viewed it that way and dismissed it.”
